Database Driven Website - Examples
A database driven website is easy to use, easy to update, and easy to find what you are looking for. A Computer shop for example, wishing to put their products online will need to have some way to sort and categorize all of their products. They will also need to be able to add and remove products quickly and easily.
Their database will contain many tables which will categorise their products (e.g. Memory, Motherboards, Towers, Monitors etc) This will enable to user to go straight the product category they want. These categories will then be split into further categories (ie monitor sizes, Meg of memory, manufacturer and price etc) so the user can streamline their search even further, so with in a few clicks, the exact product they are looking for will be presented to them.
This principal can be applied to many applications required to suit your needs.
